ABOUT

Art draws beauty from the ordinary. It unites audiences through a shared love or understandable pain. It is a therapy for those who create and those who are inspired. In a world of grey. it threads and stitches colour, helping people to think more, feel deeper and evoke change.

I simply wouldn't be me if I didn't create.

In 2014 I graduated from the University of Brighton, attaining first-class honours in a Performance and Visual Art Degree. There I focused on ephemeral art, largely exploring natural decay, and the construction and deconstruction of materials. My work was largely durational and interactive, emphasising the importance of the audience’s role and their relationship to the art. I often explored difficult subjects including illness in order to better understand or cope with these topics myself, whilst aiming to open up a conversation that may help others.

Since then, I have sculpted a career working on creative and community based events  whilst continuing to produce a range of creative works. Currently I primarily focus on sculptures, still life drawings and photography, nearly always with a natural theme. I am passionate about community art projects, helping to cultivate imagination and creativity within people of all ages as well as being a strong advocate for inter-generational community projects.

Thank you for showing interest in my work, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
